So I think, for us, human beings,
it is important to know not only how war was,
but also how post-war is, as a history.

I feel lovely the color of photos.
Here is a very precious place to think about "LIVE and LIFE".
There are post-wars all over the world, aren't they.
Photos tell me something unvisible and atomosphere in the present view.
I learned one thing that I haven't known.
The time flow has a history for each moment.
It is continued even now and will be in the future.
First, stare a photo.
Next, read explanation and get struck.
I'm so astonished that facial expressions of each single are cools.
I think they really would like the young to recognize what a war is.
I didn't know that there were Japanese war refugee and descendants in Australia!
Thank you for remembering us the history. And this story too. It is a part of earth history.
Michel (french)
There is a little opportunity to think about wars and post-war in Japan.
Once out of Japan, we face the fact what we, Japanese, have done in the war. We should learn more about it.
This tiny photo book came to my heart.
I, whom don't know about the war, was so moved.
Thank you. I would like to come again.
I fell to crying.
I've visited cities once environmentally polluted in Japan and seen local people try to step forward to the future with facing the past.
I fell to crying because your photos came to link with the feeling at that time.

How we accept the past is very difficult in our lives. Sometimes, we become pesimistic about it.
I thought it's precious for us to touch the past kindly in our daily lives.
People's emotions are impressive.
Each single photo tells not only one thing.
I'd like to come again.
I'm also the generation who don't know about the WWU at all (born in the year of 1972). My memory about the war is almost all in monochrome, but I imagine that the sky at that time was in deep blue. These are beautifull photos.
I've got 10 days off and traveled here in Osaka to see your exhibit.
I felt prayer and love from photos and movies.

In the middle of trip, I stayed in the youth hostel in Yamagata Pref. and see the photo book "Aleksei and Spring". This photo book is about the Chernobyl, and it seems to have some kind of connection with your photos.
Although the incident is small, it really happens. Photos tell the natural condition of the town not forgetting the incident. From smile and facial expression of people at the town, I felt as if there was a bit of atmosphere of prayer at such land. The night of full moon was so impressive.
I'm so glad to see your photos at Osaka. Thank you for peace prayer
This is the issue we have to face fully, and these photos are the paths you've followed. I feel relieved to see the end of your path is reconcilliation.
A war story tells only battles as the history tells only politics.
Thank you for your showing with photos the history in the small town in Australia.
I really miss Australia.
I noticed there are lots of things to think and learn more such as the history.
Your work is wonderful, thank you.
The theme of photo exhibit is "war", which is very serious.
Each your word strikes our generation born after the WWU.

Childrens' smiles, colorful landscape, and the town with rainbow seemed to express meaning and pleasure of peace.
Aussie kindly treats us, we Japanese, well. I thought we both should keep remembering the history.
The photo in church is fascnating.
I think we originally have to learn and see directly what a war is,
but I'm so glad to be given a chance to consider through your photos.
I appreciate it.
I felt the struggle in the big unit even though every each is just good person.
I appreciate to tell me efforts to overcome.

I've studied abroad for a year.
There is a same kind of facility in the town.
Recently, I watched movies about wars, and I noticed I should have talked to my Grand Pa more.
I felt as if I saw the another world.
Deep impressions on people's faces are well shown on the photos.
Imagene all the people…
It is the story in the small town in the meantime of the history.
I must have not learned it if I didn't visit this exhibit.
A war never be permitted. Imagine all the people…
I'm glad to have visited today.
Facial expressions are quite natural and fascinating.
I would like to see your work one more again after I learned the history.
I'm really fond of the photo the sky.
I hope you keep taking good photos, thank you.
The town in Australia has the unhappy aspect in the history.
Now citizens live in the daily lives without losing the consciousness of such history.
Each photo of the town made me think about the each background.
I realized that what we see in trips is more important than just trip.
Stepping forward looking back the past is courage.
It is also courage to take photos in the solemn atmosphere.
I'm looking forward to see your next step of courage.
I just read about this incident the other day, which almost had my heart and feeling broken.
Your photos, words, and courteous atmosphere spin and roll up such feeling, and seem to make me "feel" instead of "think".
I didn't think about war but peace. I love your photos.
I've been thinking that it is really difficult to connect the history of the war and the friendship of the post-war.
Your photos, however, make me feel that it's possible.
This is the Cowra in my heart.
Your experience with local people gives spice to your photos.
Neither forget about the story, nor gear up for…
